Change is a continuous effort

I want to leave a quick reminder for anyone trying to make a change.

Change is a continuous effort.

The biggest mistake I often see when someone decides to change is that they think it happens in that moment. Because they have decided, because they’ve made a proclamation the change will happen.

“I’m going to take better care of myself”

“I will start exercising”

“I’m going to stop drinking wine”

I’m sure you can imagine a few more examples. If you have decided to make a change, remember that you will need to continue to make that decision over and over again. Think of change as a continuous effort. When you decide to change be ready to face those habits you’re trying to change and make the conscience decision, make that decision again right then to change.
